Essential Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Program with an active PT license in PA.
- Minimum of 2 year of physical therapy experience in a home care setting.
- CPR Certification.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expert level knowledge of OASIS and Quality Improvement Principles preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical.
Your Role as a Physical Therapy Supervisor:
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to therapists, including physical, occupational, and speech-language pathologists, ensuring adherence to professional standards and agency protocols.
- Conduct regular chart audits to ensure documentation complies with agency policies, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by therapy staff, offering feedback and performance improvement strategies.
- Serve as a clinical resource for therapists, addressing complex patient needs, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the team.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify areas for professional growth, and facilitate ongoing training and education.
- Oversee the timely submission of accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
