Job Summary
The Agency Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of WE C.A.R.E. Home Health Agency, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care. This role involves managing staff, coordinating services, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the agency’s strategic goals. The Agency Manager plays a key leadership role in driving operational efficiency, staff development, and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs.
- Implement and monitor performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including Medicare/Medicaid and ACHC guidelines.
- Prepare for and participate in audits, surveys, and accreditation reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of home health regulations and industry best practices.
Staff Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, goals, and expectations.
Patient Care Coordination:
- Support the coordination of patient services to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Address patient and family concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the agency’s strategic goals.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2–4 years of management experience in home health care or a healthcare-related setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, ACHC accreditation standards, and home health operations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania preferred
