School-Based Occupational Therapist OT (2025–2026 School Year)

Schedule: M-F Day Shift; follows school schedule
Interim HealthCare of Scranton is seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based therapy team for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. In this role, you'll provide essential services that support students' functional abilities and overall success in the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities for the School-Based Occupational Therapist OT:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine therapy needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom.

Document services and monitor student progress.

Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Minimum Qualification for the School-Based Occupational Therapist OT:

Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania (required).

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
