**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and flexible Floater/Caregiver to join our team. This role is essential in providing temporary support to our clients in various settings, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. The Floater/Caregiver will be responsible for performing a wide range of caregiving tasks and will move between different client assignments as needed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and physical support, including transferring clients in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Administer medication and monitor clients’ health status as directed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to enhance their emotional and mental wellbeing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and the caregiving team regarding clients’ needs and changes in condition.
- Document services provided and report any significant changes in clients’ health or behavior promptly.
- Be available to cover various shifts and assignments as needed, demonstrating reliability and flexibility.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving or healthcare is a plus.
- Proven experience in a caregiving role or related field is preferred.
- Current certification in CPR/First Aid and any relevant state regulations or caregiver certifications.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, if required for the position.
