As a School-Based Paraprofessional, you will:

Support students one-on-one or in small groups with academic tasks
-
Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities
-
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for learning

Provide behavioral support and guidance based on student needs

Assist students with mobility, communication, or personal care, as needed

Supervise students during recess, transitions, or off-site activities

Help maintain documentation and support progress tracking
A few must-haves for School-Based Paraprofessionals:

High school diploma or equivalent (some districts may require additional coursework or certification)

Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed

Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to diverse learning needs
