**Job Title: Patient Care Assistant (PCA)**

**Job Description:**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to join our healthcare team across Connecticut. As a PCA, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients' care under the supervision of nursing staff and ensuring a high standard of patient satisfaction and comfort.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks such as wound care and dressing changes, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients who require help.
- Help transport patients to different parts of the facility or to appointments.
- Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
- Document patient care services and activities according to policies and procedures.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a PCA or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform the duties required (e.g., lifting patients, standing for long periods).
