A few must-haves for a Contracted Facility Director of Nursing:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a hospice, skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care setting
- Minimum of three (3) years of Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or equivalent nursing management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, infection control standards, and quality improvement programs
- Current CPR certification
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare compliance systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- Experience serving as an Interim or Contract Director of Nursing
- Track record of successful survey outcomes and quality improvement initiatives
- Certification in Nursing Administration or Long-Term Care Nursing preferred
