Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Interim HealthCare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with preschool-aged children and possess a strong understanding of speech and language development. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping our students overcome speech and language challenges, enabling them to communicate effectively and participate fully in classroom activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication skills of preschool-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech and language delays or disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development in the classroom and at home.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on strategies to facilitate language-rich environments and promote communication skills development.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of speech pathology.

A few must-haves for Home Health Speech-Language Pathologists:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP license in NH
- Minimum of 1 years of speech therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state health regulations
- Good clinical judgement, critical thinking skills, strong communicator, empathy and compassion
