🩺 About the Role: COTA–Peds
Royal Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with pediatric experience to support families across Queens and Nassau. This is a fee-for-service role designed for flexible, community-based pediatric care.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Deliver direct therapy under the supervision of an OT for pediatric (Peds) patients
- Perform evaluations, implement treatment plans, and set patient-specific goals
- Document progress and communicate clearly with families and care teams
- Coordinate services and address caseload needs in a timely manner
- Maintain open communication with supervising OT regarding client care
📜 Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Peds and OPWDD populations
- Must have reliable transportation for home visits
- Strong organizational and communication skills
