Teach the Home Health Aide Training Program (75-hour course/15 Days) and Conversion Course are completed per Department of Health curriculum. The Nurse/Staff Educator provides an appropriate climate for learning, and facilitate the process by developing, planning, and presenting education activities and directly or indirectly fostering the development of competence for all staff. The Per Diem Nurse/Staff Educator will be responsible for orientations of new employees, annual competencies for all disciplines including RN, LPN, PT, OT, SW and HHA’s.

We are seeking a Nurse Educator to help develop students into their desired profession.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements and evaluates the delivery of education and training to professional and para professional staff.
- Plans and conducts initial orientation and ongoing educational programs with an integrated approach for all clinical and para-professional staff to include regulatory changes, performance improvement plans, best practices and Agency initiatives.
- Promotes the development of clinical skills to meet the needs of the agency and patients.
- Conducts field competencies of staff on orientation and assists the Clinical Manager with field competencies as part of remediation and/or performance improvement plan.
- Identifies opportunities to improve care delivery.
- Utilizes all methods of teaching available: classroom, internet, webinars, videos, text messaging, clinical learning management platforms and home visits to accomplish education objectives.
- Returns appropriate paperwork to students, HR and Administrator in a timely manner with professional, constructive comments.
- Evaluates Caregivers performance related to objectives in a manner that accurately reflects the Caregivers’ abilities and knowledge to carry out their job duties.
- Maintains open communication with clinical site personnel and incorporates their feedback into clinical experiences
