Job Summary
We C.A.R.E. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in the Wyncote, PA area. This is a consistent weekend case requiring 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This role is ideal for a nurse with pediatric experience who is passionate about providing high-level, individualized care in a home setting. You will play a vital role in managing the child’s ongoing clinical needs, supporting the family, and ensuring the child’s safety, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with a pediatric patient’s care plan
Conduct regular health assessments and monitor changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Educate and support family members on care techniques and pediatric health
Document all nursing care provided in accordance with agency standards and state regulations
Communicate effectively with physicians, care team members, and agency supervisors
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the pediatric patient
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Pediatric experience required (home health or acute pediatric setting preferred)
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans
