Speech Language Pathologist – Home Care in Nassau County, NY

Full-Time | Fee-for-Service | Salary: $105,000/year | $75 per visit

💼 The Royal Care is seeking compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our growing home care team. As an SLP, you’ll help patients improve communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

Conduct patient evaluations, assessing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication and swallowing function
Educate patients and families on communication strategies, swallowing techniques, and home exercises
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team
Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with healthcare standards

Qualifications

Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required)
Experience in speech-language therapy (home health experience preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a home setting
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
